Director of Engineering

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Expertise in major server technologies (Java, Node.js etc.) or Frontend (React etc.).

Strong computer science fundamentals and first principles thinking.

Data driven approach to problem solving and tracking metrics.

Experience of working with directly with exec team will be a huge plus.

Understanding of at least one major cloud platform is a must(AWS preferred).

Leading large parts of the existing MVP tech stack as well as designing a new one for our next level of scale and market expansion.

Expect to lead a sharp team to drive the business goals through modern tech.

Our goal is to be tech centric and not just be tech enabled. You will be expected to think big and solve for the ecosystem with the right blend of tech and intuitive user experience.

Objectively observe and design a system that will solve for the complex workflows, provide transparency and predictability for all operations.

Work with the product engineering org to drive roadmap, milestones and boost the company level KPIs.

Past record of leading teams in tech-first solutions

Strong fundamentals and demonstrable ability to be first principles driven.

You should have had hands-on experience writing enterprise grade code in either major server-side tech stacks (Java, Node.js etc.) or frontend (React, Angular etc.)). Being full stack will be a plus.

You should be data driven and have exposure to analytics and related use cases.
